As 2021 comes to a close and we’re taking stock of all the great programs, partnerships, and success stories we got to play a part in at Crowdly, we’re equally as excited about the growth to our SaaS platform that made so much of it possible. While we always love sharing case studies and customer testimonials, we thought we’d take this opportunity to highlight some of the biggest wins from our product team, innovating on a platform that we’ve been steadily building up for the last 8 years. While these innovations don’t always get the limelight, they’re always behind the scenes of every thriving program.
We had a few key product goals this year that dictated our focus:

- Overall Mission-completion rate: ~40%. Ease of use, customization at scale, and on-target CTAs resulted in user follow-through exponentially higher than the competition.
- Our marketing automation functionality, FosterTracks™, delivered 1.5M segment-driven emails with industry leading results.
- ~25% open rate
- ~21% click-through-rate
- 95% customer retention rate. Crowdly’s partners loved the value we were able to deliver, and the ease of use we build into every touchpoint.
Crowdly Product Update – What We Accomplished in 2021
Our platform is built at its core to power customer engagement strategies that unlock authentic brand love at scale, connecting brands to an owned base of their best customers to drive loyalty, digital word-of-mouth, and real time feedback. With valuable feedback from our own great partners, we were able to validate and invest in what we knew was important, and uncover new opportunities to drive innovation.
- We expanded and improved our marketing automation engine, the FosterTrack™, delivering over 1.5 million segment-driven emails.
- We implemented better filtering for segmentation and can now filter Insiders based on their location, user join date, user profile info, and more.
- We focused on the Insider experience leading to our highest Mission conversion rates, and rolled out new Mission features like ranked choice field type, whitelabeled domains, and activity insights in each Mission.
- We built Programs, which allows us to easily group and clone Missions and FosterTracks, further automating our programs, and increasing efficiencies.
- Improved the dashboard for our clients so they can get quick snapshots at the overall program performance, with more insights in more places.
